Mae'r cyhoeddiad fod pris tanwydd am gynyddu 2c eto i 105c y litr yn ergyd arall i'r economi.
Mae'r Llywodraeth yn dweud fod nhw yn gwneud hyn er mwyn cynyddu gwariant cyhoeddus! Celwydd llwyr, gan ei fod yn ffaith fod llai o arian yn cael ei roi o San Steffan i'r Cynulliad ac o'r Cynulliad i'r Awdurdodau Lleol (Cofiwch fod angen arbed £16m yma yng Ngwynedd oherwydd y toriadau yma).
Be sydd yma ydi treth i ad-dalu'r arian sydd wedi ei wario i achub y banciau, arian nad oedd gan y wlad i ddechrau.
Mae cynydd o'r fath yn cael effaith mwy andwyol arnom ni yma mewn ardaloedd gwledig ble mae defnyddio ceir yn hanfodol i lawer iawn ohonom i fynd o gwmpas yn ddyddiol. Mae hefyd yn golygu bydd prisiau popeth bron yn codi gan fod costau cludiant yn naturiol yn codi hefyd.
Credaf bod hi'n hen bryd i ni ystyried protestiadau fel y rhai cafwyd blynyddoedd yn ol gan fod hyn yn gwbwl annerbyniol ac mae'n amlwg na ellir gadael i sefyllfa o'r fath barhau llawer mwy.
The announcement that fuel duty will rise again by 2p at midnight so that the avarage price of petrol will be 105p per litre at the pump is another serious blow to the economy.
The Government says that its doing this in order to increase its investment in public spending!
This is a blatent lie as it is common knowledge that Westminster has slashed its contribution to the Welsh Assembly who have subsequently slashed the funding for Local Government (Remember that £16m savings are needed in Gwynedd over the next 4 years because of these cuts).
What we have here is another stealth tax by the Government to pay for the Billions that they have plowed into the banks to stop them going bust....money quite clearly the Treasury did not have.
Such a rise in fuel duty has a greater impact on us here in rural areas as using the car for many of us is not a choice due to the fact that we need to get from A to B for work and public transport is not as frequent and as cheap as in the cities. It also means that the prices of almost everything else will increase due to the added cost of transportation.
I think that it is high time that we seriously considered protesting again like the fuel protests of the past as quite frankly things cannot carry on like this much longer.

Anon - Ti'n awgrymu nad protestio ydi'r peth iawn i'w wneud? Yn anffodus gan mai dim ond aelod o Gyngor Gwynedd ydw i, does gennai ddim mewnbwn o gwbwl i mewn i sut mae'r Llywodraeth yn gosod prisiau tanwydd. Mae'n amlwg nad yw ein cynrychiolwyr democrataidd yn San Steffan efo fawr o ddylanwad chwaith...be felly sydd yn bod gyda protestiadau heddychlon yn erbyn hyn...mi fedr o gael mwy o ddylanwad o'i wneud yn iawn dybiwn i. Yn sicir fedr o ddim bod dim gwaeth na'r hyn sydd yn digwydd ar hyn o bryd sef DIM.
